The concept is awesome: 5 people are trapped in an elevator. And then they start dying one by one. Because, you see: one of them is the devil.

The tension builds up and you wonder who amongst them is the lord of darkness. The interaction between the characters is very nice, writing this kind of thing is not easy.

Some things are a bit unnecessary, like the back-story of the cop who lost his family, not sure what the point of that is. But you keep guessing... I thought I knew who the devil would be, but, no: that character dies.

We are not always in the elevator though, we see the two security gards monitoring the trapped people, and seeing the face of the devil appear on the screen. We see the cop working, trying to solve the case, we have the religious guy who's right, but whom nobody believes.
You get all the markings of a horror film, but it's all in an elevator. I really love that.

I am not saying this is the best film ever, far from it, but it's original and entertaining. Plus anyway, the devil is not that bad... He kills all those people, who are all evil anyway, so he's doing the world a favor. So why be afraid of him? Unless you got some kind of dark secret...
